Free/Low Priced Entry
This is one of the famous Botanical Gardens in South India, other being the Botanical Garden in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. This has a large collection of Plants and Trees. Many of them centuries old and planted by famous people. One of the Towers originally built by Kempegowda to mark the boundary of Bangalore is also located within this Garden.
Bannerghatta National Park
This is commonly known as Bannerghatta Zoo. It has number of animals in captivity like Lion, Tiger (including few White Tigers), Bear, Leopard, Hippopotamus, and Different types of Deer/Snakes/Birds. The highlight of the zoo is the Safari that takes visitors in Buses inside large enclosed areas where the animals roam freely
